As a class group we spontaneously made the decision to get on a bus, and get off at a point in which we felt was not familiar. Our aim by doing this was to end up in an area in which we could capture some street photography, in the Leeds suburbs.
We ended up in Beeston and Holbeck, both places that I have never been. Although there were a limited number of shops and people walking around at two in the afternoon, we did manage to take some interesting photographs. I am a fan of ‘real’ and ‘honest’ photography, and I don’t like anything to look too polished, so photographing this unseen part of town was interesting and I was happy with the outcome of my photos.
